		Implant Purchasing Solutions is a national supplier of implantable medical devices. Our goals are to provide cost savings to Health Plans by offering costly devices at below market prices and to relieve hospitals of the burdensome process of billing, collecting, reimbursement and paying for these devices.   IPS offers a special program for hospitals struggling to provide an effective and efficient means to receive reimbursement from Workers’ Compensation claims for implantable surgical devices. In the advent of new Workers’ Compensation regulations that provide a carve-out reimbursement for surgical devices, IPS provides an effective solution that is crucial to making the most of these new reimbursement structures.   In the commercial market, Health Plans are financially responsible for these devices, with no input into the negotiated purchase price between the manufacturer and the hospital. In addition, Health Plans manage claims from multiple hospitals, with differing contracted reimbursement fee schedules and processes. Hospitals and other providers are faced with increasing device costs and ever-changing billing regulations and procedures.
